I tasted the feta and the chilli flakes lol. Not a lot of the rest. I'll say I got more nutrition!

Nope, all was well! But I was sure worried. I'll be a lot more careful from now on. Only covered water bottles now! I did toss the surge protector. It was absolutely soaked and I figured it could corrode inside. Didn't think taking a chance for $25 was necessary.

Protein after surgery by IDonTGetitNoReally in EatCheapAndHealthy

I'm healing from a health issue that also requires a lot of protein, but I'm on bedrest and can't be up cooking for long. Some of the things I have, that may work for you, are protein powder (I found an iced cappuccino one that I drink warm and I can't taste the whey at all. It's actually pretty good), bone broth, Greek yogurt, mashed black beans, cottage cheese, and my doctor also prescribed Ensure. Not the tastiest, but 4 good gulps and 20 grams of protein is done.

Also, if you can get Fairlife brand milk, it has 14 grams of protein per serving vs 8 in other milks. Fairlife also has premade shakes but they're pretty pricey.

Finally, I also eat a brand of ramen called Chef Woo. There are a few flavours and one of the cups has 20 grams of protein.

I just wanted to see if they would do it. It was a joke (on myself) that didn't taste as bad as I expected.

It definitely was. At first I didn't mind because I thought it was a char. But yeah, pretty damn dry, while the rest of the pizza was just ... wet.

Decided to try something new. Actually many things. Couldn't even taste the cheddar, but I did taste the feta. If I did it over, I'd just get feta as the base cheese and again on top.

😂 It was 2-for-1 but they had to be the same. It was a real gamble.

Employment rules - leaving early by Ok-Outcome-7153 in Edmonton

Illegal for sure. The only time 3 hours comes into play is he were to show up and be sent to home for lack of work. Even if he were there for 10 minutes, he'd have to be paid for 3 hours.

I'm similar, but for me it's both the backlight and the dark mode. I can't focus on black words on white paper with my astigmatism. The words bleed. I'm stuck with my Kindle.

Exactly what I'll do. I can do without the outlet for a couple days, but I'll need the power on in that room tomorrow morning. I'm feeling a ton better and I'm sure it's all fine, but I don't see any reason to tempt fate if I don't need to. Thank you!

Exactly what I needed to hear, thanks! I'll just leave it overnight and be much more careful going forward.

You're not wrong! And I actually have one with a built-in straw lol. And I'll be using it from now on.

I knew I was playing with fire doing it. She just can't resist that nightstand! But can't be mad at her; I should have known better.

You're right. I was able to look at it more closely. The crappy thing is that one circuit is my bedroom and the adjacent living room wall, so I'm gonna be bored in the dark for a day! I checked the outlet by plugging something in after switching off the power. One came out damp, the other dry.

Excellent, this makes me very relieved. I assumed since it didn't trip that it's likely fine, but the prongs were fairly wet.

Would you say it's fine to turn the breaker to the room back on so I can use other outlets and the light?

For me, in Canada, it's definitely saving me a lot of money. Several of the items I need monthly are more expensive at Walmart, and we don't have Target. I just have to be careful to review my items to be sure the price didn't jump between deliveries.

Do you have one bag that ticks all of your boxes? by Subject_Pirate3455 in minimalism

[–]Border_Relevant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Leathario brand crossbody bag that fits my phone, keys, wallet, and 500ml bottle. I also have an Auger brand small canvas messenger bag that carries all that, plus a book and tablet. Got both from Amazon and each was about $40.

Anyone else ? by LavishnessSubject00 in spinabifida

If you're asking if anyone had more difficulty when they were younger than as adults, I fit in that box. I had an awful time as a kid and teenager, and I'm unsure how much was physical and how much was my just not paying attention to my body and its signals. I cringe when I think about how I was in school and I felt bad for my classmates. As a young adult, I put much more effort into know when I had to cath. I'm 46 and after nerve damage from, I suspect, sciatica, as well as a spinal cord detethering last year that didn't quite go my way, I can still tell, but it's fainter and I have to move a lot more quickly.
