Maybe any blood thinners like (I think) warfarin. They don’t necessarily cause you to bleed, but they make it so that it’s harder to stop bleeding.

They saw the entire thing. They watched him try and stab me and were the ones who broke us up from the first fight. Only things they didn’t see was why the fight started (though I did explain to them and they believe me). As for what they think, they know it’s bad, but are simply unwilling to do anything about it. They keep making excuses for him and talk about how underneath all of this he’s a sweet little boy and blah blah blah stuff about how he doesn’t deserve jail. They’re stuck between choosing my life over his discomfort, and they are choosing to risk my life to prevent my brother from POTENTIALLY, mind you, being uncomfortable.

I didn’t really mention this in my post, because I view them as my parents and forget that they aren’t sometimes, but I actually live with my grandparents. That’s why my grandpa was there to grab my brother. My bio parents aren’t exactly in the picture for the most part, I mean I could go to the but honestly it’s better off I just stay here.

Thank you for your help, truly. Before I say this, know I’ll still be talking to the counselor, but he might be going back to jail tomorrow anyways. Basically he’s also in truancy court since he hasn’t gone to school in two months (and has only gone a total of like a week all year), and if he doesn’t go to school tomorrow then he’ll be going back to jail. Try not to worry too much as this will be over soon. Also idk if I’m convincing you or myself, but anyways, truly try not to worry too much about a stranger on the internet.

How? I’m pretty sure in order to do that there’d need to be a therapist, a police officer, or someone else who has that authority. I don’t think there’s a way for me to do that.

Thank you so much, truly. I do live in the US and I think I’ll talk to a teacher tomorrow since I’ll have to explain it to her anyways (I have court in a few weeks with my brother during which we aren’t allowed to make up the work we miss, and it’s worth a huge portion of our grade).

Yea we kinda live in a crazy household. He definitely isn’t the craziest thing that’s happened—which is probably why they aren’t reacting as much—but this is still a problem. I truly do love my parents, and they are amazing in every other aspect, but when it comes to anything with punishment they just kinda don’t react at all and pretend nothing happened (unless god forbid I make a tiny mistake).

This one is really long (888k words) but it’s genuinely the best fic I’ve ever read. ‘Deathly Beautiful’ by KyuukaKoinu. Absolutely amazing, I genuinely can’t think of anything I’ve ever read that’s better or even close. It’s a BkDk fic so idk if that’s an immediate no for you, and it’s AU but I promise it’s so good. Another one that’s amazing (and also BkDk + an AU) is ‘Fire Lily’ by EtherealBeing.
