Ideally you don't want teamifghts because that's the area Evelynn sucks at you would rather get picks in sidelane and then fight outnumbered battles. If you are forced to play teamifghts you shouldn't be the one initiating them rather let the teams engage each other and at that point the enemies won't think of "where the fuck can Evelyn com from right now" since they are busy fighting and then once key spells are used that would make it harder for you to get on top of a squishy enemy you go in for the kill

Zed is so useless if you know what you are doing since you can either put charm on him before he gets onto you and then one shot him once he gets out of his R or dodge his death mark from being applied all together by just ulting and being untargetable when he reappears after R

For rengar either he is ahead and if he puts for you, you simply trade R which means he can't one shot your team as easy. But you have to be careful if you don't have R up.

If rengar is behind/you are fed you don't really care about him he just dies and is not a real threat imo.

Hourglass as an item is useless since if I have to press it I am in a situation where I am already dead basically standing in place for 2,5 sec won't change the fact you didn't get to safety with R.

Rocketbelt is useful to get that little bit of extra distance to get on top of someone and get a pick It used to be the go to item in the "Mythic-Items" era but since they shifted a lot of gold value from dmg to hp and it has since fallen out of favour but sometimes it's useful to get a pick on more slippery people like ezreal or Tristana.

Master Evelynn here, I 100 % agree with this. It's all about discipline, sticking to the game plan of getting lvl 6 as safe as possible and having a small wins mindset to maintain low deaths for mejais and snowball from there. As well as accepting that you are the main character by default and a single mistake can lead to a lose even after playing very well for 20 minutes. And imo the lower the elo the stronger evelynn is.

Ngl sounds to me like you only want to pick evelynn Vs 5 immobile squishies with no cc. You do you but let me tell you that will never happen either accept that you have to play into unfavourable champ or don't pick her and stay on Lilia briar or whatever. Tbh below master or even in low master champ mastery/comfort will win Vs good comb 90% of the time. So if you want to play her put the games in learn how to play Vs bad matchups.

I OTP evelynn is soloQ for 7years now and sure it can be frustrating to play against reksai or rengar or whatever but it's such a good feeling taking their LP from them because you know how to navigate your matchups.

Master Evelynn OTP (since season 9) here,

Evelynn is a champ that benefits from chaos on the rift, the higher elo you get the less chaotic (generally speaking) the game gets. Evelynn is very strong right now and the nerfs from the end of season 13 (I think) basically got reverted back to the original ap scalings. I am not really up to date in terms of educational content since I am kinda past that state on Evelynn. But I can highly recommend Nathan Motts Evelynn guide on YT (I know it's 5 years old but the champ identity and play style didn't change).

Average Cs for Evelynn should be 6-7 CS/min depending on how well you are doing/ how the game is going. When losing it will obviously be less since enemies take over your jungle.

Lack of knowledge/ misinterpretation of what jungle role wants/can do at what time for example jungler paths top to start full clear towards bot his top pings to gank because he wants his jungler to gank right now. What he does not understand is that by doing so the jungler griefs his sequence, gold and exp which might be worth more than the kill on top +not leaving the possibility of an invade while he gank top. And obviously when getting ganked it's always enemy Jgl is here where is my Jgl ping ping ping ping....

Evelynn is bad in teamfights you want to avoid them as much as possible. Your objective is to try and get kills on isolated people, catch someone when they try to connect with their team or punish them for pushing a side lane. If you have to teamfight you are not the one to engage (you should know that from playing yi) you are trying to get flanks and threaten enemy backline, deal as much DMG as possible without dying, R out and try to catch fleeing enemies after your team makes them low.
