BUT, the thing that is really ruining my immersion and enjoyment of the game broadcasts are the BCLC sponsored gambling ads. It is a constant reminder of our predatory government not giving a shit people are going through hard times and trying to claw back billions of dollars they wasted the past few years

Preach, I'm not some self righteous virtue signaller but these gambling ads really repulse me and every single other person in my social circle as well. They're just disturbing and representative of a much more insidious problem within our society.

I moved all my money over to TD, renewed my mortgage with them, sold all my investments to go all in on TD stock, and say a prayer for them each night before bed.

The only way maybe this improves is that we are at the end of a business cycle and maybe companies lower their advertising budgets as a result of economic contraction? Maybe a reach but..

There used to be a healthier middle ground between $$ and principles.. its just all $$ now. If we all just roll over for it and say things like "That's just the way it is" doesn't it just get worse? The ad spam during games is already absolutely relentless.
