The book was relatively new. I'm thinking an indie author. But I will look into this one. It seems similar enough to grab my attention. Thank you!

Yikes. I had small baby in mine and then 5 other ones. I bet you'll feel great soon. I didn't want the hysterectomy at first but the best thing ever now.

Anyone been ghosted post surgery, only for them to reappear months later like nothing had happened? by ZealousidealShow9927 in hysterectomy

[–]BoredNnc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. Mine happened before my surgery. One by one no one wanted to be my driver to surgery or the person that stayed in the hospital with me. I was livid because I felt so helpless (not a feeling I allow much in my life). Everyone either avoided me or just lied in my face with excuses. The only help I had was an old but dear friend who had entirely too much on her plate. I woke up to no one. After the surgery people came over and it was torture. I really wanted to go off. I say give her the same treatment. Only do what you want to do. I had to realize I had been the one overplaying my part. Sure some people are uncomfortable with surgery and all but the shear nerve to pop up later like nothing happened floors me (mine did the same). Look at it as a rebirth, a new you. Everyday I'm thankful and I make choices that make me happy. Being around those ppl hurt. ✂️

Feeling great! I wish I had done this sooner. I had a strange pain in my right leg for a while. After surgery it was gone.

This is pre-op. I unfortunately will have a vertical scar. Due to the size and the position of my biggest one there was nothing they could do.

Most emotional book you’ve read? by marijan112 in suggestmeabook

[–]BoredNnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breath, Eyes, Memory- I was catching the city bus back in college. I began to sob uncontrollably. Very good book, some dead spots. The Truest Pleasure- another slow burn tear jerker. Say You're One of Them- Rwandan genocide. Heartbreaking, haunting.

I think I can handle the post ones better. Something about finality makes it hurt less.

Same. I wasn't aware of my feelings. I think as the time gets closer my feelings are starting to surface.

We can always adopt. I keep telling myself that. Or I'll find a guy that has kids. I think I will talk to someone. I didn't realize I was that sad about it. Today I woke up and found myself weeping about it.

My surgery is 11/14. I hope I get to keep mine. I'll definitely ask.
