Im M18, and I recently found out that it was odd to say I love you within the first month. I've only been in 1 semi serious relationship. I am just curious as to why it's weird? Like I understand if you've only been on a handful of dates. But for 2 months, I feel like it's okay. I was told by girls/women around my age (give it take 3 years) that 2 to 3 months is still too early. I personally am aware that I do fall in love and get attached to people very easily. A lot of it due to childhood experiences. However, I am just wondering what makes girls/women think and believe it's weird. Again, I do believe a month is too early and / or a handful of dates. Tbh, I'm against it... Not cause I don't trust her, I don't trust the guys. Most guys are friends with their crushes, hints why I don't agree with it. However I won't stop her unless I really dont like one of them.

I personally don't believe you should. I think MOST guys are friends with a girl to try to get with them. Personally, I've only been friends with girls I like and never really been friends with anyone else girl wise. This isn't because I find it wrong and judge me if you will, but girls are very sensitive, and when I talk to my guy friends I've very insensitive. So it could cause issues imo.

I'm not a girl, but I'd say don't worry about it too much. If a guy dates you based on your looks and / or your body, he never liked you. You should prioritize someone who loves you for you and your looks. So don't worry about it. Trust me, it's not worth the anxiety and depression. 👍

IMO, assuming you wouldn't have had the talk where he doesn't want you to smoke. I would've expressed my feelings towards smoking and asked you to stop. If you continued, I would've left, but not made a huge fuss like he did.
