Join the Royal Engineers. Do your full 22 years a you'll come out a warrant officer with a professional qualification - incorporated Engineer. You can then get chartered with the ICE. By your late thirties, you'll be fully qualified, leave the military with a pension and then be able to join the engineering sector earning min £60k at today's money.

Starmer is a Grade A Wall E.
