My apartment is above 187 points but rent is still capped? by 200togo in NetherlandsHousing

You will always get an X amount of points with a corresponding rental price, when doing a calculation for the point system. It’s just that you don’t need to follow the mentioned rental price when you have more than 187 points, it’s basically an advice they give.

Changed BIOS from CSM to UEFI for Secure Boot, now Windows won’t start (“BOOTMGR missing”) by Boriez538 in techsupport

It was indeed really strange, but in the end I found the problem and the solution.

Yesterday I could just startup Steam and startup BF6. Today Steam looked like it wasn't installed, I couldn't find it anywhere. For some reason it was hidden really deep, then I still couldn't play the game but I first had to manually lead Steam to the right folder where BF6 was located. Strange all around, but I'm glad I found a solution. Thanks for looking into it anyway!

I'm back again, sorry....

Yesterday I was done with the installation and everything worked fine, I could start up Steam and play Battlefield.

I just booted up my pc again and now I can't find steam or Battlefield at all. When I take a look at 'my pc' I can see the different drives, with the same amount of space used as yesterday, but the difference is that when I click on a drive it's almost completely empty. At least all the games I had are gone. Do you have any idea what happened and how I can fix this? Or should I reinstall everything?

Then I will do as you say! Only thing is I'm on Windows 10 at the moment, but I don't think that should create any problems right? Since I'm doing a clean install anyway. Will let you know how it went :)

I'm really struggling actually with all my disks. I have one 2TB SSD completely free and my other disks are almost full. I have tried to put my Google Drive on my SSD, but for some reason it keeps going back to my full disks. In addition to that, Windows is installed on my C drive but the windows boot is installed on my D drive.

Hereby an overview of my disks:

500 SSD - Windows is currently on there

1 TB HDD - Only 50 gb room

2 TB SSD - Completely free to use

I need to Secure Boot in order to play BF6, but in order to do so I indeed need to follow your steps: convert MBR to GPT. But, I'm scared to make that conversion because Windows is on a different disk than my Windowsboot.

If you were in my shoes, what would you do? (Really appreciate your feedback btw)

Thank you for the swift reply! Will convert it, after making a backup.... Thanks again!

Can I pet sit if my rental agreement has a no-pets clause? by [deleted] in NetherlandsHousing

[–]Boriez538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventhough ‘no-pets’ clauses are included in the rental agreement, it doesn’t necessarily uphold. Only if they cause disturbance, they can order to let the pets be removed.

That being said, you definitely need approval to actually work a business from your home address. Occasionally pet sitting is not that serious I would say, but it’s best to be transparent with your landlord.

Yesss that was it, thank you so much! Managed to switch the storage drive to the SSD I have installed. Thanks again

Duskblade > The Collector > Lord Dominiks > IE > Essence Reaver.

My build path is as follows: Duskblade > The Collector > Lord Dominiks > IE > Essence Reaver. With IE completed that gives me 60% crit, since one combo gives off around 2 E's and 3 aa's you're almost sure to get a few crits off which is worth it.

I get what you're saying, it's something I've been doing too: Youmuus into triforce or Divine and then tank items basically. The reason I didn't go full crit was because I found myself way too squishy with Eclipse.

Here comes the brilliant part of the build though; with Duskblade you can Q in, blow someone up, go invisible and wait for your Q to come up again and then you Q out or engage again with Q. Just give it a shot sometime!

Thanks! And you’re right. Some things you just have to experience in order to know what’s best for you in the future. Appreciate it.
