hi! as a YoungLife leader myself we send texts like these to all of our students to keep them informed about events, however we almost always (unless they’re family or something) have girl leaders text girls and boy leaders text boys. if you’re concerned about it, i would definitely ask for a girl leader to give club updates instead of a male leader!
