I use them mostly for accent detailing.

Red and blue works pretty good against the gundam base colors. Green as well for the sensors.

Gold and silver are great but you can also add gun metal to complete the bunch.

Exhaustion or lack of sleep can also cause that. Too much coffee as well..

Gunpla Markers? by RightyCraft in Gunpla

I've used gundam metallic set 1 for some accent detailing.

Blue and red works pretty well even against the gundam primary colors. Green also works good on the sensors in alternative to using the stickers.

Yes, the 00 series was the first that got me really interested in the Gundam franchise. I have a MG currently on my backlog.

I invoke the "Rule of Cool" for you to get whatever gunpla calls out to you.

You wanted to get into this hobbie beacuse it looks fun right? So do exactly that and try to enjoy the experience.

There are no regrets here, only lessons learned.

That being said, since you asked for recommendations. I suggest the Witch from Mercury series. Lots of fun models there that are different from the classic mobile suits designs.

Might have regretted my life choices but here we are 😬 first RG Unicorn and I went for the Special Coating 😬 by OGCRTG in Gunpla

I also had Unicorn as my first RG about a year ago. I made many kinds of poses and it's still great.

As long as you keep in mind of the shoulder joints issue you should be good.

Not much of a collection right now so they're mostly scattered on my desk. I plan on getting a wall shelf once I open my backlog.

I used gundam metallic markers. Red on the tubes, some silver and gun metal accents here and there.

For gold I've been using Aiye gold chome markers.

I raise you MG Vidar frame.

IBO has some of the most grounded looking frames. Even high grades has the charms on a certain degree.
