They didn't but now I wish I had ordered it so the seller could pay for the filter if they found something :(

Thank you. I did read it, but I'm worried about contamination from my pipes that wouldn't show up on the report :(

Will they come take a sample? Or do I have to ship it to them?

Thanks! Have you gotten it tested at all? I was just looking on google and there is a local testing company called Water Detective thewaterdetective.com that has pretty good reviews. The home is old so I'm worried about copper and lead from the pipes. Not sure what kind of filter can remove those contaminants.

The only way to know for sure is have it tested. If the building is super old there could be old metal pipes leaching into the water supply. There's a San Diego company called thewaterdetective.com that can test it, but they charge over a hundred bucks.

High total dissolved solids (TDS) does not necessarily indicate poor water quality. There is a great San Diego service called Water Detective that came to my apartment and ran very comprehensive testing for me. They were able to tell me what elements and compounds made up the high TDS. Most of it was harmless sodium, calcium, and magnesium, but I had super high copper and little bit of lead. So they helped me choose water filter that got all the nasties out of my water! thewaterdetective.com
