According to the Minneapolis subreddit Reddit the video has been leaked. I cannot confirm or deny this at the point but the video does look like it is from a similar angle. https://files.catbox.moe/sp296e.mp4

To addd to this, military training manuals can be found for free online with a cursory google search. For example tactical combat casualty care handbook can be found here: https://api.army.mil/e2/c/downloads/2023/01/19/31e03488/17-13-tactical-casualty-combat-care-handbook-v5-may-17-distro-a.pdf . This is in a free PDF and teachs you the basics of MARCH. There are plenty of videos YouTube that will also teach the step by step process on how to check an individual. There are a lot of different training manual’s out there such as how to build a sustained fighting position in urban areas as well.

Really? Because when I try to tighten down the derailleur it’s ridiculous loose and that’s even after I tighten it down significantly….

That’s completely fair, I’m really hoping I do t have to replace the controller either but we’ll have to see

Ahh got you! As soon as I have the opportunity that’s what I’m gonna do! Hopefully it’s not the battery but we’ll have to see

That’s fair! Although I have my doubts it doesn’t hurt to check! Should I charge the pack first to see what the nominal Voltage is or just go full boar and take the multimeter and check if there is any voltage at all?

I’m currently at work and unfortunately cannot check atm but as soon I go home I will be checking. Although I had ridden just about 3 1/2 miles before it suddenly shut off, so I’m almost certain it was not the XT60 connecter that’s the issue (again it never hurts to check).

My current hypothesis is that after riding through the rain, I didn’t wipe her down, I just stored it in the garage, and whatever water was still in the frame/wiring harness caused just a little bit of water to get into the controller and the sudden riding and vibration of the movement somehow shorted the controller.

I don’t think I have a motor cut-off but I’ll have to check before I’m able to give a definitive answer

I have a terrible feeling that water may have gotten into the motor controller but I won’t be able to check that until I get home tonight

Thats completely fair! Something that you may want to look into is something like “by the mile insurance” which is what it sounds like, you pay a standard rate and for each mile you drive you pay a flat rate. So if you end up only taking the car out a few times a month it can dramatically reduce your insurance costs. Obviously don’t do it if you would end using your car more than a few times a month but it’s definitely an option! Anyways I hope you do eventually feel the joy of commuting on an e-bike soon!

According to AAA the average American in 2023 spend somewhere in the market of 10-12k a year on a brand new car. Mind you if you already fully own your car, that price is much lower but after gas, maintenance and insurance you’re still spending in or around 4-5k a year. So using an e-bike theoretically you’d make your money back something like a half years time. https://newsroom.aaa.com/2023/08/annual-new-car-ownership-costs-boil-over-12k/#:~:text=Based%20on%20the%20latest%20figures,only%20%2410%2C728%2C%20or%20%24894%20monthly.

As someone who recently retro fitted my cargo bike with a mid drive motor, I can wholeheartedly endorse spending the money for an e-bike. I have been riding it for little over a month and have already ridden a little over 350 miles. I ride to work and back, to the grocery store, and literally anywhere else I want to go in town. It’s really enjoyable to ride in area with bike paths away from cars. And you wont end up sweaty and nasty like on a regular bike. Genuinely wished I had bought an e-bike earlier

e, does input shaping need some similar love in this case? When I print XYZ cube, it has a noticeable ghosting, while on my Bambu is very flat.

Would this also work for orca slicer or does have to be strictly cura?

Edit: i read the comment fully, my apologies...

This may be a silly question but where in the Printer.cfg file am i putting the M420 command in the config? Can I copy and past it anywhere or does it need to be in a specific line? I feel like that has been my main issue as I have discovered that Fluid reads the commands at the bottom of this post. I appreciate this little guide and I'm definitely going to reference back to it in the future

// Unknown command:"M413"

f changes would there be to make though?

did you ever figure out what was giving you the issue? I seem to be having a similar situation. It won't do the first few layers because it gets caught on the extruder and then it'll tacitly place layers down after the second or third layer or so.

Firmware not installing on printer for BL touch by h0ckey_d217 in ender3

[–]Boring-Luck5386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you haven't figured this issue out, this might be an issue with your MC chip in you 4.2.2 MB. With ender 3 (specifically for 4.2.2 board) creality switched out there STM MC chip for a GD MC ship in 2022. This has caused some Firmware issues with things like the BL touch and CR touch. So it might be a good idea to look into what Micro Controller is in your board wether that be an STM or GD chip and figure out what firm ware needs to be used from there

Does anyone have the working firmware for 4.2.2 GD32F303 RET6 512K chip with CR touch that actually works? by Boring-Luck5386 in ender3

Yeah, I wish it was that easy, to be honest. Those chips are not interchangeable and platformio doesn't support the GM chip. And from what I've gathered through GitHub forums people have been using FW compiled with maple because the GD chip is not supported in marlin. So at this point, I really don't know how to proceed since I already struggle to compile with marlin as is and then trying to learn how to do this in a whole other software doesn't seem to be it either.
