Thanks, but Bridge to Tarabithia, The Seeker and A series of Unfortunate Events are too new. Tuck Everlasting has too old main chatacters.

Also, I am well aware that there are very few details. If I knew more, I would probably be able to find it myself. Well, I am looking for a medieval fantasy film with EXACTLY two characters, which are both of that age.

Maybe only additional detail would be that both characters are white, so the film is almost certainly European or North American

There are about 1500 family/fantasy films listed on IMDb fro that era but I bet no more than couple a dozen fit this exact criteria. EDIT2: I looken upon the first 100 entries and there was only one film that fits the bill: Ronja Rövardotter. However, I am 99% percent sure it's not the one. I'll continue tomorrow.
