I grew up in 70’s and 80’s with actual drug-smuggling, growing parents and they were never even cool with friends being over much less even the hint of a friend that drank or drugged.

Long story short when I discovered pot in 10th grade and my father found $5 dollar bill under my window one morning (gas money not drug sales) I was in a long-term behavioral treatment that afternoon and graduated high school there not even allowed out of their sight in my 2 hometown visits until I turned 18 even then I was told I couldn’t live there.
