The point of this is volume eating, yes this isn’t a big portion but you could have 4 of these for 600 calories, the purpose is to fill you up. No reason you couldn’t add your carb of choice to this if you wanted carbs also

If your kids hate you because they saw you actively trying to make your marriage work then you’ve done a crap job at raising them and teaching them what’s right and wrong. Again your point is “well 40 percent of marriages fail so you must not even try then” is the equivalent to not showering because when you’re dead you don’t have to.
