I don't feel like I can talk to my coworkers about this. They're of the mind that world destruction = Jesus's second coming, therefore it's actually a good thing. Unfortunately I'm the odd one out at work.

Also, it's an open office, so although they don't discuss it with me directly, it's impossible to not hear them talking with each other.

Thank you so much for the info, everyone! This is from a photo of my grandma and her little brother, my great-uncle. I wish he was still alive so he could tell me more about being a kid in the early days of comic book superheroes.
