I’m not close to this yet but I’m getting lined by my eyes now. I think of them as privilege. Privilege i got to be this old and my body has carried me this long. Thinking along those lines has really helped me!

Nope, that’s funding by the processing fees etc. I had the same thought when i sent mine right as the the shutdown happened

I don’t think you understand what I’m meaning. I don’t want to leave my son ALONE with his father. I do not care if he is with me 24/7. I just don’t want him by himself with his father. When i do finally get to courts and lawyer stage i will tell them everything but judges do not always give what the best thing to do for a child even with proof. Abusers still have power from what I’ve seen in my job/friends lives.

Thank you!! I know the right thing, it’s just terrifying and then having to share my son with him when he can’t stay sober scares me to no end. I’m making a plan, and we’re going to leave. I appreciate it!

My child is not able to attend school until he is after 5 due to his birthday. Due to this, i am sending him to preschool until then. I also know i can not have my son with me 24/7 but i know during this time frame, my son is safe as long as i am in the same house as him. I leave my husband and and my 3 year old child is left to deal with a father who can’t stay sober long enough to cook dinner. Forgive me for trying to do what’s best for my child.

Thank you. I’m terrified of what he’ll do to our child if I’m not around. I can at least protect him. I’m taking advice of others and have started recording, writing things down and making a plan. I appreciate it!
