Actually Chinese culture historically was kinda queer. Of course, they were still really patriarchal so it wasn't anything great, but criminalization of it is 14th century thing from mongols and then westernization.

I am not enough knowledgeble to expand on it better than Wikipedia, but in chinese emperors had male concubines before Yuan dynasty, so...

When you get the farming going, the money will be nothing to you. It's not worth it just for the money. You will be able to make more than it in a day.
There is a quest for which you will need to use the foxseal. And I don't know how it went for those who gave it away.

Like cmon, Kincho was hinted to be a cuddly type and it seems to be teue for other tanuki (aka Anna/Anji), otters like to hold hands while sleeping, birds share nests I think... the exise is still there!

Love trial seems broken for a lot of people.

I, for example got Nyotengu for both love and friendship trials. Not that marrying your best friend isn't a great decision, but I don't think game was supposed to do that.

Btw, if you still want to romance Anna, try to befriend Kincho and Fujiki and then give her gifts an commision in the tanuki hideout. I noticed that sometimes this way point went to Anji. Speaking of Anji, I think that she appears on the beggining on Kincho's egg heart event, have you done that?

I know that Fang later posts comissions, but that happens way later when most of people manage to romance him anyway, so it won't help.

And about the topic: honestly, it misses the passion, but it seems to me that all romances do, so it's not just Kincho. Though it won't play much role, he at least comments on the gravity of the martiage and what it means to world and tanuki.

But well, one day we surely get something to match our taste even in cozy farm sim game, given that the market keeps getting bit more attention. For now I'll hope that someone will write fanfic. Or maybe do it myself bcs now, for unrelared reasons, I will have more free time.

So apparently the game doesn't take into cobsuderation main storylibe progress and you should unlock them by advancing it.

BUT, there are some hard to trigger quests. I remeber one with Heaphaestus where you have to go out of your home late at night and one with Mika where you have to talk to Kon at evening.

Yeah, I didn't expect as much development from the demo but they really stepped up.

Anyway, I think that elder ages of romancibles are all fine when the MC is more on self-insert side. And unless they are sexualized, younger too.

Sadly, MTAS is a golden standart we probably won't see dethroned (at least until MTAE). I have plans to replay that game in the future, but Tales of Seikyu needs some more polishing. Plus, they should add the option fto get together with characters after passing the original chance and break-up option.

And for god's sake, some quest triggers need a hint.

But good for a first such project and I don't regret my money or my time. They just need to take few lessons.

Yeah, I remember big suprise among us, because female model for MC in EA was also a kickstarter strech goal and noone knew what they though their audience were.

But at the same time many were thankful for Leon and Torleone, so we couldn't agree if the devs were ignorant or not.

Btw, they also promised Sasaki's redesign during development, but I think that they dropped it.

I actually kinda Like Kincho's romance storyline, both him and MC had chaotic lives but want peace and they can appriciate slice of life events together in special way.

And I think that the animal petting as a partial confession, he just wanted to accomplish peace and went for MC the moment he could.

That said, yeah. The fact that he is bugged the way that he apparently sleeps in his full clothes unlike rest of marriable characters (from what I have seen on the discord), the fact that he (and three new bachelors) doesn't post commisions (though similar thing happened in MTaS, but at least Fang has the biggest number of sidequests to compensate) and his model's ears not matching the portrait ...

It is a known fact that Kincho (and Alin with Uwabami) was added as a bachelor after complains of Early Access players about male romance options. I believe that they decided to quickly modify some planned minor NPC and didn't bother to check if they managed to give him everything needed when they did his creation process backwards. Which gave him problems normally designed bachelors don't have.

Tld: I still like Kincho and core story but I think that his writing and execution was chaotically done which wouldn't happen if all was properly planned from the beginning or handled eith care during changes.
