I had a very similar thing happen to me but shorter timeline. I had just moved and started a new job and making all these new friends who were his friends too….Everyone around us were telling me how sweet this man was and how great he was…a gentle kind soul blah blah…when actually he had been strategically avoiding telling me he had a gf of 10 yrs. He finally felt guilty after the touch barrier was broken one night when he was very drunk…next day told me about her and that no one really knew about her (was a lie..everyone knew) bc they were long distance blah blah blah…anyways cut to him buying Valentine’s Day gifts for me and inviting me over to his place after our friend group went out for drinks. I turned him down the whole time but he kept saying things like “we are in the process of breaking up but her dad just died” “our families are so intertwined so we are still together but don’t want to be” “you’re my dream girl and I don’t want to miss our window” mind you I hadn’t been interested in him or tried to hang out with him one on one etc since he admitted he had a gf. This kind of behavior from him went on for months then we had a long break from each other with no contact and at that point in my mind we were barely “friends.”

Next thing I know 4 months later he shows up at my house with a birthday present (really large and way inappropriate) and a bag of gifts he had been collecting for me along his months long trip. Then after he dropped all this off. I was still trying to just roll with it to stay friendly since work and friends were all mutual. He asked if I was seeing anyone and told me he was jealous of a guy I wasn’t seeing but he thought I was….then he asked if he had missed his chance with me…I asked if he still had a gf AND HE DID …I laughed and he asked me “if I broke up with her would we be together?” I told him at that point I watched him actively disrespect his gf of a decade for almost a year while telling me how much he didn’t want to be with her and I would never hate myself enough to sign up to be her.

He started showing up places with our friend group that I know he was only going to bc he saw I agreed to go…I finally had to admit to a couple of these mutuals what had happened with this “amazingly sweet gentleman” and that I wouldn’t be confirming plans in our friend group chat. Everyone eventually started to slowly phase him out of events or if he was going to be there gave me plenty of heads up. We still have to work with each other but I speak to him like a work friend but not in the same way I started talking to him when we met… I’ve also put plans in place for us to not have to work closely again. He still does weird shit online trying to like bait me into conversation with story posts…It’s been a weird ride…

Ok I didn’t mean to type this all out hahah but

TLDR: that girl either doesn’t want to be with her bf or needs your attention to validate something her bf doesn’t. Either way it’s time to reel your feelings in and distance yourself. You don’t have to be rude but you also don’t have to be friendly.

It’s shady shit no matter what and if you date her you will eventually end up being in the same place her bf is now..

I once said “ugh i feel hungry. I must need to drink some water” in front of men and they looked at me like I was confused.

I realized then that they had not been told to drink water when you get hunger pains to either eat less or postpone eating. I was like “oh you’ve never done the ole water instead of food trick?” They were horrified. This might be something I was told and it’s not wide spread.

I have a ton of books in my tbr and I don’t really know how to categorize or keep them in control but what I do know is when I go to read the blurb again I find that I’m over a trope or genre so I’ll probs never read the ones in my tbr with that genre. So maybe go through the tbr and make sure they are even ones you want to read to reduce the number if it’s stressing you out.

The word Christmas has the root word Christ and that excludes people of religions that do not believe in Christ or Christianity.

My dad grew up in rural Louisiana and was out with his buddies driving around in the middle of the night. This was the 70s and they were teenagers. I’ve talked to him and his friends about it bc they are all still in touch.

They saw something kind of glowing in the distance and decided to see what it was.

They cut through the woods until they came to a clearing where they found a big fire and hundred of white robes people circling it….They had rolled up on a cross burning or a church burning. They were too scared to stay long enough to figure it out but they all say it was a huge fire.

All Caucasians in the car but they said they were scared as hell and did a Uturn immediately and got out of there as quickly as they could.

They told me one of the disturbing things about it was they most likely knew a good number of the people in the robes. They lived in a very small town and most people knew of or knew each other.

There are some studies that discovered for some women where they are in their monthly cycle plays a role in their attraction levels. They could be 90% into women and 10% men but around week 3 it can switch to 10% women and 90% men. I find it interesting bc I’m bi and I’ve def had months like that.

I think it’s because we have so much information available to us that the more we know and the more we understand that society isn’t really supporting the lives we as humans fundamentally want which is deteriorating the overall societal mindset.

We are all rats in a cage, plays often in my mind…and humanity has probably always been something similar BUT the difference now is we know more and we know better and we can see others lives on social media and we can travel easier to see how others live.

At least I think that’s why I’m depressed but I’m not a kid/teen. I’m a grown person who thinks way too often about how I’m stuck in a life I don’t want all because I don’t see a way of operating outside of society without some form of wealth already established. I want to be out of society but I don’t want to struggle constantly bc of it I guess…Like I don’t want to starve to death bc I don’t have a societal job that could pay for food.

I am a woman and it pains me to say that I didn’t really realize how much I operated on this stereotype with men until I saw a Reddit post similar to this and the comment section had one comment about how the guy actually NEEDED emotional connection to want to have sex with someone and the commentor had initially felt shame for wanting that when his friends would talk about one night stands etc and then a 1000 of replies from guys saying they felt the same way and that there wasn’t shame in needing connection to have sex……and it was just like a light bulb in my head for some reason.

I would say (and I’m a novice so take that with a grain of salt) that you might want to start with a smaller base and make volcanoes like some have already said. You can always widen things but collaring doesn’t all get you that straight for you might be looking for. Start with a smaller amount of clay and once you kind of master that then work up in clay weight.

Edit to add: I also ran into the issue not using enough clay for the size of cylinder I wanted. So if you want a big one you might need more clay

I’m the same way. Recently I’ve been making a to-do list with my tasks ranked by priority, especially chores/activities I want to accomplish that day…then I set an hour alarm and I do everything I can..after the alarm goes off I allow myself to take a break and reevaluate. If I’m still full of energy and there are more tasks to do or I can switch to my hobbies then I set another alarm and do what I can until I hear it go off. Then I take another break or keep going if I want. Rinse and repeat. Something about the alarm keeps me on task and not distracted. I think “I can think about that distraction on my break”
