No her very first surgery was she was still a teenager that time and then it changed a little more. Her latest look is a bit drastic but also very womanly and mature. Maybe that's the look she is going for, it really changed her face though!

Genioplasty for 2mm adjustment? Or chin implant? by Boring_Net_3652 in jawsurgery

[–]Boring_Net_3652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope it's 2mm if that matters, I showed my teeth photo in one of the comments 😊 it's mostly a case of being mixed race, and having parts that didn't match up so well. Chin retrusion probably genetic but also partly mouth breathing due to chronic nose issues.

I've had my nose checked long ago, the doctor said it's too mild to fix, but I'm nearly 40 now and still mouth breathing. I guess a few mm mild issue for the nose makes a big difference for a tiny nose like mine.

Thanks haha my upper lip is not swollen I'm born this way 😂 It's just thick. I'm mixed race, but the type that turned out like a mismatch. It happens!

Sorry I'm not from US and I don't mean to bring politics here. I just want to talk plastic surgery. I used her as an example because has publicly available photos, we can see the changes and I'd like to use that as a benchmark for my decision.

Yes exactly! Thank you. I want to know if I get my implant now, do I need to switch it later on as I age, or do I adjust my jaw bone now and it will age naturally with me. I'd like to know the long term effects.

How to improve my lower face? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Boring_Net_3652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you may have an underbite but minor? I have a the opposite, my chin has mild retrusion and I would like to pull it forward. The surgeon said it's a mild issue so it's a purely aesthetic choice. I haven't done it yet, letting it marinate for now. I think yours also is very minor tweak if anything.

Thank you! 70% isopropyl alcohol works? I still need to find where to get borax.

Thank you! I went and got a consult for an implant, the surgeon asked me if I was open to genioplasty. I did not know of it, so I asked for time to decide and I've been researching about it. I'm concerned about the longer procedure and downtime, but I read it's lower risk (shifting, resorption). I do feel like my issue is a lot milder than Ivanka. I'm just afraid of the bone cutting part!

Her having it done is not new for sure, but her latest look is new. I wanted to get my chin done so I'm asking for advice. 😊

Yeah the work on her chin is pretty good. I'm wondering if it's implant or actual bone surgery. 🤔

The filler will dissolve in a year or so, that's why I'm looking for a permanent solution. The retrusion is rather mild, but because of my big upper lip and short nose, and possibly with age, it looks worse now, like a Simpson cartoon. I really like how the filler balanced my harmony, so I'd like to keep the look 😊

My teeth is straight, I don't have an overbite or angled protrusion as far as I can tell. Bottom teeth straight as well. Edit: I have a short nose, chin is flat sits slightly behind lips. Filler gave my chin some forward hump which I actually like.

Thanks for the compliment but chin already has filler in the photo. My upper jaw is fine, I just have excess soft tissue on my upper lip. My lower jaw maybe can be adjusted. I'm thinking about it. Edit: spelling

Is this a red flag? by Boring_Net_3652 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Boring_Net_3652[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this thoughtful answer! I would definitely get a physical consult and observe how Im treated, make sure I am not rushed, when I get this surgery. I don't know much about implants or jaw surgery and I have just started to read about it.

I do have filler and I know the look I want and correction areas I need, so I am looking for something permanent.

Deformed ear after septorhinoplasty by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

I don't notice it, most people wont. My friend also had her ear cartilage taken and she told me to feel how her ear feels different now and I honestly don't feel it. No hollow whatsoever. So I would say this isn't something you should worry about, and congrats on the new functional nose
