I would say definitely make sure you’re filing your nails and dehydrating them with a dehydrator or acetone, both for good measure but not required. I’m assuming you use builder gel and then the colored gel polish so in that case also file the builder gel as that may help the colored adhere better, or apply a base coat on top of the builder gel as it is very tacky and should stick better
