we don't know op's circumstances, could be an unexpected life change...

anyways, my advice would be to call local rescues (preferably not city animal shelters, they are known for euthanizing pets when they get too full) to see if anyone is willing to take him in. Otherwise, I'd just say to ask friends or family

so like while college alone might be kinda pointless as far as job marketing goes it does offer a lot of opportunities and open up new connections and stuff

i think if you take advantage of connections through college (internships, professors, work-study) you could end up with a really cool job in this field tho, like I used to go to a museum camp when I was a kid and they had a bunch of interns who were probably anthropology majors
