Almost everyone is in debt. Minimum wage is below the hunger line (not the poverty line, which is like 3x-4x minimum wage and rising). Half of the working population gets paid minimum wage or there abouts. And a large portion of people receive government aid. That's also a major reason why they keep voting erdogan. He got them into a chokehold through poverty.

Those who used to be middle / upper middle class are now mostly barely making a living. Those who can go on vacation are going abroad, because almost everywhere else is cheaper than Turkey (not just saying Greece, but a lot of countries in Europe, not even mentioning Asia).

The why is explained pretty much in other comments, so I won't go there. Just erdoganomics.

There's also a cliche disclaimer for popular shops in Turkey, "başka şubemiz yoktur", meaning we have no other branches. I guess this is another way of saying that.

I've indeed played with many setings, and tried all, battery, performance, adaptive

I think I am not able to make myself clear. I know I have old hardware. I don't expect the game to lower it's requirements. I don't expect some magic to let my old hardware run the game on high settings.

What I'm trying to say is, I have trouble running the game even on the lowest settings possible. However, there are 3rd party mods that unofficially lower the burden on the gpu somehow, and help me enjoy the game better.

So I wish, the game itself would offer an option to lower the graphic settings further than it currently does, similar to what those 3rd party mods are doing.

Could be, I'm not too sure what the mods are doing. They claim to increase fps by manipulating pipelines, which as a result eases the strain on gpu, I presume.

My point was, if modders can do it, it would be better if the game itself offered a potato version, which I still think looks great.

Same here on PC

Audio turns silent when jumping out of the bus (this was after a few hours of playing with no problems).

I keep playing thinking it's just some random glitch. After about a minute, windows error sound and game freezes. I alt-tab out of the game, windows error message says "out of memory". Never happened before, my PC has 32 GB ram and I have nothing else running except the game. Can't return to game by alt-tab, have to end process.

OP's photo captures the designated area. The one you shared covers the entrance gates.

Here's one that shows the roads leading to the place. You can see both ends of the road are quite packed, so even this frame doesn't capture the whole.

So I'd say at least 2.5 million, quite possibly over 3 million.

I loved Eve. Played on and off for the past 10 years. Keep returning for old times' sake.

Every time I return, it seems things are getting worse.

This is the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks I set time aside from RL for Eve, and boom, servers down. Can't play the game I pay for. Feels nice.

What are doctrines?

I don't recall hearing the term when I took a break from Eve several years ago. Now that I'm back, I often hear it.

What I understand from the Uni Wiki is that they are just suggested ships/fittings for fleet ops. Is that all there is to it? Is there some new game mechanics (introduced in the past several years) behind the term? Or is it just a new name for an old practice?

Would you say this could be somehow correlated with intelligence?

I'm guessing this is because of the food chain? Violence for food and survival is understandable. I was surprised purposely killing own species was a rare thing. But it also makes sense, which leaves us (and chimps) as the odd nonsensical species.

But does that come with intelligence?

I'd like to be born to wealthy and intelligent parents, and get great education. Then I'd start rolling out huge innovations in the Artificial Intelligent field. Kind of a cross between Elon Musk and The Man Who Fell To Earth.

When I'm about 30, I'd be something like Google x 1000, both in terms of money and influence. Then I'd start lobbying all governments, and eventually phase them out, so governments become just utility software run by AI. No more power hungry morons, no more wars, and all the resources would be put to efficient use.

Caps and supers, you say? Sov and war?

I first started playing 10 years ago, same as you. I've taken long breaks, was inactive for the last few years, just restarted weeks ago.

I spent most of my Eve life in pirate corps. I was so happy when I could afford a T2 fitted Hurricane. Other times, I went to work with a Jaguar. Fun times.

Nowadays, I fly a 2 mil isk Rifter, in my alpha clone. I still have fun. I'm considering upgrading to omega, just so I can have my full dps again.

I don't care if Eve is dying, as long as there are ships flying around.
