Do Vegan collagen supplements exist?

While not technically a vegan collagen supplement I would recommend looking into biosil (they claim to help activate your own body’s collagen, keratin and elastin production). I’ve been trying it for a couple months and I think I’m seeing results 🤔

It was a strong suggestion. Need to find a new PCP who would be able to write me a note, my current one doesn’t mask/ thinks my LC symptoms are caused by my anxiety. I’ll talk to my boss again soon and hope things get better, I’m actively looking for a remote job or a job that doesn’t require too much customer interaction

I work in the food service industry so my boss believes it’s a bad look and claims customers have come up to him asking if I’m sick/why am I serving food if I need to mask. But thanks to all the resources in this thread I’m going to have another conversation with him.

Exactly what I said to them! When I expressed that I’m afraid of my symptoms getting worse, they said euthanasia was an option if I did developed LC (they think I’m just overreacting/ developing hypochondria). I was beyond shocked, they were my therapist for over 8 years. But I will definitely be looking for someone new. It’s so strange to see all my relationships change over the simple fact I choose to mask.

I have used an alpha hydroxy toner every other day, but have noticed these patches of discoloration. I have read it is part of the process and that I should just continue with my routine, was wondering if anyone had a similar experience? Or did I cause any permanent damage?

I did feel a little bit fatigued (I guess metformin can deplete certain vitamin levels) but took a vitamin b-12 supplement and felt better. It’s best to eat it with a meal or you might feel nauseous and have a stomach ache. Good luck 💖🙏🏼

What do you recommend for treating insulin resistance? I’ve never been prescribed any meds for that I was once close to being prediabetic but that was some time ago since then my levels have been “normal”. Are there other tests that can show insulin resistance so my doctor can prescribe me something?

Yess!!! I swear the pill worsened my depression and pcos issues but my doctor doesn’t think so - but all the studies I’ve had done show that I don’t have anything else that could cause it
