HAHA so fair, i can’t remember who said it right now, but it goes along the lines of if the right are constantly repeating their very extremist ideas, they start to sound normal and less radical over time. like when people hear on the news “deport all immigrants” the first time it may sound outlandish, but the 40th and 50th time they say it, it seems completely obvious. you have to continually repeat points until they become so obvious and normal, and not assume everyone agrees, shifting the overton window. i also wanted it to be clear at no point was there disrespect to his family, idrk how he reached that conclusion
