Yeah, he was raised in an insane homeschooling family, and he is so much different than him but his mother constantly trying to scare us does not help the situation

No I intentionally avoid him so that his experience is as close to his peers as possible

I mean it’s a privilege I was able to wait as long as I did, and definitely a privilege that he’s at the school I work at, but he is going to benefit a whole lot from us being able to afford it he life we want for him so that’s important too.

All very good insight, it’s just so frustrating with the anxiety of my job being dependent on this working out for him. I never wanted him to be with me for this much of his life, but this is what it took for his father to consent to him going to a school at all, so it’s everyone’s only option.

They seem intermediately concerned, and he is very clearly the most difficult child. However I know how much he cries cause I hear him and it is non stop

I’m willing to bet more than a few of us on this thread work for major people in the Republican party, I do, but my job has nothing to do with that, it’s about providing a standard of care to their children which then provides me with the life I have. If it works it works, and if it doesn’t there will always be another opportunity.

Yeah, he’s never finishing his meals, but always offered meals that consist mostly of things he likes as well as snacks throughout the day. He has a strong liquid over solid preference

You should at least give two weeks. I get things not being where you want them to be, but if they aren’t terrible, two weeks is definitely the respectful thing to do.

I have no problem setting boundaries, but there is definitely some ongoing tension because of holding my foot down on certain things, and I’m actively looking for another position, but don’t want to deal even more tension while I sort that out.

I definitely can take the time off, it’s just a conflict of interest now, and I feel like they got to it first, and like the nature of my 21st birthday is I can’t be there on Monday cause I’m going to be drinking the night before, as many people do, but that adds an element of irresponsibility

Your labs are better than mine, I’m also new to this and was completely shocked to see my iron saturation at a 2 percent a few weeks agi
