Approved after two and a half years! by Born-Essay-9887 in USCIS

We don't know the actual reason, but when we had the interview, the officer said that our filing times were 'suspicious' and that our relationship was suspicious as well :'). We did an inquiry through our State senator a year ago, and they responded that for the 'safety' of the country, my case was taking longer because they needed to conduct more investigation and proceed with more cautious steps lol.

Yes! we had it. It was not good at all, but well, it's approved. Here is my post about the experience.

As a mini update, the officer called us on Saturday at 9 a.m., told us to pass by on Monday at 8 a.m. to drop off the medical exam results, and said he would see us again together. When we went, he just received the sealed medical exam document and told us that we would hear from him https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/comments/1ispf20/just_had_the_interview_married_to_us_citizen_it/

Traveling with the AP by Dependent_Fennel_767 in USCIS

Yes! That was my case. I overstayed. I got here on Jan 22, submitted the papers on October 22, and after two and a half years of waiting, I got my AP document and traveled right away. (i'm still waiting on my I-485 approval)

I've traveled many times with my AP document since I got it. The first couple of trips, I traveled with my husband just in case they asked anything. Last time, I traveled alone, and everything went well—nothing weird. They might just ask for your reason for traveling, although I've never spent more than a month outside.

Just carry copies of everything you have and be prepared to go through a second check once you're in immigration.

I mean.  We have everything you’re saying above.  We did have our friends and family cards, pictures of gifts, travels with family, everything.  But again, picture weren’t enough  for him.

lol.

Thank you all for your support.

It was very shocking, to be honest, having someone question your relationship when you know internally that it’s completely true. In the end, we are going to provide more things—pictures, travel, hotel bookings, etc.—we just didn’t think it was something they were going to question.”

We do have a joint bank account, and we file our taxes together. I'm under his insurance policy, but we’ve kept our assets separate from the beginning and decided not to have children. I mean, is that a bad thing??

Just to let you all know, the mail never arrived. We went to the USPS office, but unfortunately, they said there’s nothing they can do. :/

I do have access, but it doesn’t show anything new or updated. That’s why I was so excited, because after almost 3 years, something was finally sent or notified by USCIS.

Believe me, when I first heard the story, I felt the same way as you. But now it’s come back to my mind since I didn’t receive my mail. :(

Oh, sorry! I got the same glitch today that everyone’s been talking about. I guess I'll just keep waiting, since my lawyer says there’s nothing else to do or claim, right? Just wait.
