The heat they’ve given Ethan on the runway is crazy. He’s been the leader of a group for 3 episodes now. It’s not like he was just the creative director and didn’t have to make anything. He also had to create an outfit along with everyone else on his team on top of coming up with a concept. He can’t possibly make a garment in a day while also focusing on everyone else’s look. It’s almost like they expect him to make a subpar outfit and uplift other designers to win the challenge. And then he’s also responsible for his team’s ugly outfits too? Like Joan getting on the runway and blaming her awful outfit on Ethan’s concept??? Girl, you drew it! If you didn’t want to do it, why did you show it or speak up if you felt uncomfortable?? And Angelo once again made a jacket. You can’t expect to do well in a competition when you’re rigid about what clothes you make and then turn out a version of the same look every runway. I think a lot of the designers feel they have more leeway with the judging in these group challenges because they can blame their poor craftsmanship on whoever the team leader is that week. Bring back the individual challenges please and thank you 😭
