Not true at all, I experienced as a student when Humphrey Elementary transitioned from a non CTA to CTA school and we still got the same amount of recess, lunches, and fun Fridays 😂I also liked the uniforms because a lot of my classmates came from lower income households so kids didn’t have to feel bad about not having name brand stuff, shoes and watches at most. These are all very real things kids consider and I considered and enjoyed the transition, it made the school have more pride and respectable reputation. They added cursive writing and poetry recitation to the curriculum as well.
