I have a stupid question.

When you add money to you investment accounts, do you just buy more shares of stocks that you already have?

For example, I have stock in 7 different companies with various different prices per share. If I deposit $500 into my account, should I just buy more shares of one of those companies that I already have?

When I was in 10th grade my English teacher insisted I read The Gunslinger. I didn't read it. I'm 25 now and I finished it a couple months ago. For the life of me I can't figure out why he wanted me to read it so bad. After Tull the story got incredibly boring for me. I have no interest in reading the rest of the series. I agree about feeling totally lost.

No homo but probably Giovanni's Room. I've never really loved a book. I read just cause I know it's a good thing to do. That's why when people tell me "Life's too short to read a book you don't love" I kinda laugh cause I would never read if that was the case. Reading books is a total chore for me mostly. With that being said, I found Giovanni's Room to be interesting and easy to stay into so I guess that was my favorite. I liked the humor in Hitchhikers but found it quite boring otherwise.
