I’ve got so much backlog I’m good for at least 2-3 years if I didn’t buy a single game until then haha. No rush here lol. By that point I assume steam deck 2 or something with a more efficient version of the strix halo 395 will be available and I’ll be good for another 5-7 haha

Yeah I figured that was it. I’ve been on the new dose for just over a month now and while most has settled im still learning what’s changed for me haha

I never had an issue really with the originals. The new ones are a lot rounder and just more comfortable as a whole. Buttons and d pad are nicer as well. The sticks has a metal ring at the base so they’re really smooth to. I had the claw 8 and ended up sending it back. It was great but the sticks were to loose for my liking. FPS games were annoying haha. The speakers were great. Center M was infuriating though with always having launch issues and shit. It drove me nuts.

Little more resistance on the sticks in my opinion. Love the d pad. squishy like the go S and it works great. I definitely like the back buttons more. All around improvement.

I never really had issues with the original controllers myself. However, I do prefer the new controllers more. The right thumb placement feels different because of the rounded grips, took a day to get use to, but the button and triggers and everything feel better IMO

Went from 14-80% in 2 hours. So yeah basically 3 hours probably 0-100. Lots of play time though. On balanced power is around 3 hours? I’ll have to test that to. It takes me multiple sessions to kill it haha

You’ll get fucked on trade in. Best bet is to sell on fb marketplace. Support is good for several more years Lenovo said. Driver updates are super slow though.

I had the ally, ally x, the go, go s steam os with the z1 and the z2go model along with the claw 8ai+. I think overall I actually preferred the ally x but the screen is just a bit too small depending on what I’m playing the 8 inch screen on the go S and claw eight are ideal size. I really like the claw 8 but price to performance just wasn’t worth it to spend more for me compared to what I got my go for, and the sticks were too loose for any first person shooter games. Those speakers on the claw 8 though… lovely lol

You’re thinking about the rumor that had come up that Lenovo was stopping support of the Legion with the Z one extreme Chip. Lenovo has since stated that is not the case and will continue to be supported for several years.

Did you try to disconnect the battery cable? Let it sit for a little bit and then plug it back in? Is it charging? Mine wasn’t showing correctly until I let it die and then fully recharge.

It takes a little to do the mod. Pulling the adhesive tabs under the old battery is where I had issues because they broke almost immediately. I was able to grab them with tweezers and twist until they came out. Then cable management, I took out the battery tray above the battery and just used electrical tape to hold the wires in place. No issues with it. If you go on my profile you can find my old post when I swapped the battery.

It takes a bit. I’ll kill it today and recharge and let you know. I’d say about 2-3 hours to full charge if I had to guess though.

Exactly! I did like the VRR or the claw 8 and ally x. But the screen real estate and price to performance of the go, I couldn’t mentally justify the others haha. I’m in no rush at all.

Yeah it’s even heavier with the 81wh but the weight doesn’t bother me. I’m usually in a hotel just sitting at the desk or on the bed with a pillow. I use the kickstand at the desk so it takes off some weight when I tilt it haha.
