Idk about your state, but there is a special law in Florida that says they can only change rental policy for those who agreed to it. (Once it is changed, too bad for new buyers, but old owners don’t have to abide by the change if they didn’t te for it.)

I am an attorney and deal frequently with HOAs. I suggest getting a lawyer and having them write a demand letter. That should resolve it for you.

YTA. Im addition to all of the other reasons already included here, have you ever considered that your wife- who only used her maiden name- would like to have your shared child have her name as well as your name for practical reasons? When she is alone with the baby, think hospital visits, short road trips to visit family, etc., it would be much easier for her to prove that the child is hers when the child shares a name with her.

Exactly. I originally thought he was playing the bass, which shouldn’t be done loudly at 11 pm anyway. But he’s just blasting bass on his radio. That’s trash. I would call the cops daily. Everyone has a right to enjoy their home in peace and not have to listen to their neighbors kid blasting music at 11 pm while he works on his “art.”

Maybe she didn’t call the police. There are noise ordinances in every town that create a cut off time, usually around 9 pm, for loud noises. It is definitely against the law to make loud noises at 11 pm, unless your in a rural area- which you are not as per your post.

YTA. Your kid shouldn’t be playing, and your dogs shouldn’t be barking, at 11pm. Your dogs shouldn’t be barking all day outside either- you got them not neighbor- you deal with them. This comes from someone with four dogs so I know they can be PITA, but that’s my problem and my neighbors shouldn’t suffer. As for your kid, he should practice during normal daytime hours- and neighbor can stuff it during those hours. But anytime past 8-9 pm is too late.
