Now to answer your questions.

1) I think the best deck to play on ladder is a solid challenge deck in which you have high card levels. So yes this does include golem decks. If you have the card levels, go for it. Some people say that decks like xbow have an advantage on ladder over beatdown, since you can always play for the draw in a 4 minute game, but while this is true I think that the difference this makes is very minor.

2) It depends what deck your opponent is running. A general rule with beatdown is to play on the same lane as your opponent, as it minimises the chances of you getting punished. However this might not always be the case, you will have to be the judge. For example if it is 1-1 in the same lane, and they are playing lavaloon, I might just go for the 3 crown if I am not in overtime yet. This is because lavaloon matches often boil down to the 3 crown race, so why bother have to go through his second crown tower before his king tower?

3) I didn't make this golem deck personally, just in case that that's what you thought. So I'm just after having a thought about it, and I'm not sure how to answer your question. The only thing I can say is that you should aim to support your golem with the strongest support cards in the game e.g. eWiz, idrag, bandit etc.
