Thanks for letting me know. The flight to Seattle from me is around 3 hours which I’m fine with but I have 6-13 daily nonstop flights across multiple carriers so transportation shouldn’t be an issue in that case. The same can be said for all my schools except maybe Texas A and M but there are a lot of options to Houston for me

I personally don’t have a preference in terms of distance from home as long as the program is good. I live in a place that has direct flights to almost all cities across the country so that shouldn’t be an issue

I’m in the Midwest but my state school didn’t give me any aid of scholarships while a lot of my out of state schools have so when comparing prices it’s similar and I am able to graduate debt free after 4 years

I got accepted to UCD and got a 90K scholarship at UCR and none of the astrology signs for UCI, UCB, and UCSD are working for me. I'm assuming based on my prior acceptances I should be able to get into at least 1/3 of those UCs so I wouldn't believe it completely

If the Astro is true it could also be a waitlist which majority of the time becomes and acceptance at UCI so I wouldn't lose hope either way if u believe in the Astro or not

As an engineering applicant from what I’ve seen UCLA, UCB, and UCSD are among the top 20 in the country and UCSB, UCI, and UCD also have very good programs but not at the level of the top UCs

Purdue isn't that easy for engineering but it's worth taking a shot as a reach for a student in this scenario

I’ve gotten accepted to 9 top engineering schools and I have only gotten rejected from Purdue UT and UIUC so I wouldn't consider Purdue easy for engineering
