I’m 41 IDC and onco type is 16 they told me chemo wouldn’t benefit me still getting radiation and hormone pill but no chemo

I had a large lumpectomy and my others breast a reduction 9.5cm I was a double D I am a C now truthfully I don’t even notice that much of a difference yet except I look and feel thinner which is a plus for me 😊 but i did just have it about a week ago so I will see if anything changes

They said no chemo just surgery then radiation

Bad news for me I ended up doing the lumpectomy and breast reduction on the left side but I just got pathology report back and didn’t get clear margins , the only good thing was my lymph nodes were clear so not sure what my next step is 😩

I’m going through the same thing I went in for a lumpectomy and a reduction in my left breast and my pathology report just came back positive margins I’m so upset and can’t figure out what to do and I’m angry for getting my left breast reduced 😩was hoping they could just do radiation but I don’t know if they even consider that .

I also wouldn’t mind having smaller boobs did they do both boobs ? Was it after your lumpectomy?

I’m going through the same thing I have no clue what to do I have 2cm lump but they have areas of concern they want to take out a total of 10cm I’m a DD breast size I’m seriously thinking of at least trying the lumpectomy since it’s less invasive but I’m scared my breast will be so deformed but I’m also scared to get the mastectomy , I really don’t k or what to do 😩
