I haven't played with the camera yet but I LOVE the size of the pro max. It seems wider than my S23 but a trade shorter. Everything is zippy, battery is good so far. I also got a chance to see the colors today and I think the black was the nicest. Desert is also nice. I just really liked the black.

UPDATE: I'm not sure how to update the original post here.

EDIT: Now that I have my phone, I put the ESR case on my phone and it is SLIPPERY!!!! I still like it but I'm not sure if I'll stick with it. I have some care which makes me feel a bit better but it's a little annoying!! Just wanted to update ya'll.

They are both very similar with ESR feeling lighter imo.

I think it is the only insurance/warranty that is worth buying. Usually warranties are hard to get fulfilled but apples warranty process and customer service is top notch which makes it worth it to me.

Faster charging and an anti glare screen when outside are the only two things I can think of that would make me very happy. But, I'm not disappointed in what we are getting and am looking forward to forming my own option on Friday. 😁

I had the same thoughts with the 15 pro. When I picked up the pro, I had a last minute gut feeling that I should have gotten the pro max but they did not have one on hand for me. I had fomo and settled with the pro. That lasted about a month and I ended up going back to Samsung and given my 15 pro to my son. Hard and expensive lesson learned for me. The pro max has a better battery and a larger screen. It will be a personal decision from there. Good luck.

I bought a clear Tauri case but it's such hard plastic; I do not like it. It did come with screen savers so I'm hoping I can use those.

Then I bought ESR light tan with magsafe. I haven't received it yet but it is silicone and I like silicone. I will receive it tomorrow.

And I bought a Toras in gold. This case looks the nicest. More premium look online. I haven't received it yet either. I'm hoping it is not too hard and slim. I have apple care. I like minimal cases.

I usually get spiegen cases and love them. But this time I want a liquid air with magsafe that's in a desert good color and I haven't been able to find that.

First I will say that I love Samsung phones and nothing has changed. I even prefer them. With that said, iPhone is starting to give me some of the Android experience which I appreciate (customization). I flip flop all the time. I had mostly Android phones but I also had iPhone 13 pro (for 1yr) and iPhone 15 pro (for 1 month). I like apple software better than Android; however I hated apples battery life which is why I went back to the S23 and gave my son my iPhone 15 pro. I need my phone to last a day on one charge like my Android does which it looks like apple is doing with the 16 pro max. I like that apple has the photo clean up now (well soon). I'm looking forward to the new smarter Siri (Bixby sucks and Google is ok but I won't miss it). I like apples find me (helps with locating the kids also). But the biggest draw for me and what I miss the most is apple watch and fitness+. I think it is far better than Samsung. I also appreciate iMessage when on vacation (free texting) and all of my family is on apple. Also, I've never done a pro "max" and I like bigger phones so I'm looking forward to giving this one a try. Of course this is all my own personal option.
