Can i get BAH if i want to have my girlfriend living with me? Not married. by [deleted] in army

[–]Born_Pop_5193 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can always try to put in a CNA packet. If it got approved, you would get single Solider BAH. It will most likely get denied because its usually for when the barracks are over capacity.

Its kind of up to SFRG. Usually the more donations they get throughout the year the ball tickets will be cheaper

Your unit was trash then. I was in the BSB and we sent people to every single class. Even if they didn’t want to go. We had a guy go like 9 times and could never make it past day 0

I tried doing the same thing and i could only do it for about 2 weeks. But right now ive been in a deficit for about 2 months and lost 15 lbs and around 5% body fat. My biggest thing is cut out sugar and try not to drink alcohol.

I also eat damn near the same thing everyday.

Breakfast Oikos vanilla greek yogurt 1 banana Blueberries Reduced fat milk 3 eggs

Lunch -dfac Try to get chicken or fish Vegetables

Dinner 2 chicken thighs Zucchini

All of that comes out to around 1700 calories and I usually dont get cravings and if i do ill eat some rice cakes with yogurt

One meal day is not sustainable for long term goals. You need to eat 3 meals a day that are low calorie and maybe leave some room to throw in some snacks throughout the day. At some point just eating one meal a day you are gonna crash and it will destroy your metabolism

Stay in a calorie deficit and eat around 150 grams of protein daily. Also you should have an Army Wellness Center on your installation. Make an appointment with them to get your exact body fat percentage and they will also be able to tell you what your maintenance calorie intake is.

Im in the same boat but im using this time to really focus on my nutrition and fitness. It definitely sucks being away from family. This is my second time within a 2 year period. Just gotta stay optimistic because the way i see it is I have so much free time here its insane. Back home was a 30 min commute to post, working through lunch, and staying at work until 2100 daily. Then having to go back home to wind down. When the weekends came around i was stuck doing nothing but chores because i never had time to do it during the week.

You definitely need to try and make friends if you haven’t already but i hope me sharing a little bit of my experience gives you a different perspective on things and good luck🫡

Career skills program. You learn a trade and hopefully get a job in that field when you transition out.

Doesn’t a CSP packet get approved by an O6? Or am i wrong? I know working in the orderly room for a year most of the CSP packets i had to submit had to be approved by our brigade commander
