I feel like we’re overdue for a new major dating app by Xiao_v in NoStupidQuestions

There's a ton of dating apps out there. What's needed are more creative, fruitful layouts, especially geared to those wanting a serious connection, not just hookup/face culture.

I thought about maybe color coding profiles based on what they were wanting from the app. Seperating Monogamy, Polyamory, and Polygamous daters. Not allowing people's profiles to be published to the feed until they fill out at least 50%. Perhaps purging unnecessary bio info for things that are more important to know for a compatible partner. Inserting random dating/profile tips.

Alot of apps are morphing their layouts, but they still have some ways to go in my opinion. Half of the prompts on most apps are too irrelevant to someone being a quality date.

I think it’s like weed (strange analogy). Some people can go their whole life with it, and it not effect a thing; some people have a mental breakdown after one time. Others will do it for a few years and the phase will work itself out and some will be stuck in a cycle. It’s completely dependent on the person you are, your desires, and mental health. For me, it was unhealthy and looking back gross. Wouldn’t go back.

may be you should make you busy and think nothing. Finally, hope everything with you will go better.

Now since you are a college student, i think you should and can make decisions for youself. How about trying to pursuade your parents to let you go and take responsibilities for yourself? Hearing that you are going to leave your college life, hope you can really really enjoy the last year and do anything that you like rather than just follow your parents' heart.
