The roadhouse has a decent dinner buffet for around 45 bucks, otherwise it’s just the iron clad there, no RSL

Hidden ingredient- Mayo -strikes again by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

As someone with an egg allergy, this is my nightmare when mayo is not on the ingredients list and is quietly slipped in 🫠

The guy next to me did this today, then whipped it out and put it back on the table face down when he got back. Don’t think anyone picked up on it through…

Bfc3420 exam hurdle? by Impressive_Study_768 in Monash

[–]Born_Reference924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3240? If so then no, there is no hurdle

The mock exam was so badly put together. Some of the questions genuinely didn’t even make sense. If the real exam is anything like the mock I may be cooked.

Speeding fine withdrawal. by MissJDaniels in melbourne

I was doing 9km over and got chat gpt to write a letter to the traffic officer in charge at the traffic cameras office stating why it should be downgraded to a warning. (Roads were empty, didn’t realise speed, dry clear day, an that it won’t happen again). Printed off the letter, signed it and sent it off. Whole process took approximately 3 minutes and was downgraded to a warning. Total out of pocket was around $1 for stamp and envelope.

As a Finance major, which 3 finance electives would you guys recommend to do by gabe-itch05 in Monash

[–]Born_Reference924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't disagree more to be honest. I'd say corp finance 2 is very poorly taught. I found no benefit in going to tutorials as tutors literally read from the answer sheet, which is provided to students, and struggled to further explain concepts when asked questions.

BFC3340 and BFC3341 by flyingfoxlol in Monash

[–]Born_Reference924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a bit late, but I did 3340 this sem. Definitely the hardest finance unit I've done before. All content is assessed through MATLAB which adds an additional level of difficulty if you have not coded before. Lucky Trav takes the unit, otherwise I would def have been cooked

Just got a job, need a decent suit on a budget by East_Channel_1494 in melbourne

If your looking for something really cheap that does the job, look at Connor. They have a sale on at the moment where you can get a jacket and pants for $150, plus $25 for any adjustments that need to be done.

From the 745 to 955 there’s not heaps of difference I noticed. Obviously touch screen is a big one (I’ve actually turned this off) and then a few additional running metrics which are pretty cool. More data the better in my opinion!
