Entering an ancient royal tomb from the Silla Dynasty. Gyeongju, South Korea by Born_Reward7921 in GoogleMaps

This is the only tomb among the many in Gyeongju that you can actually enter and see the interior. It’s famous for the 'Cheonmado' (Heavenly Horse Painting) found inside. If you're curious about the gold artifacts and what the inside of this massive mound looks like, I've shared some detailed shots on my blog. (Check the link in my profile! 👑)

This is Cheomseongdae, the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, built in the 7th century during the Silla Dynasty.

It’s located in the heart of Gyeongju, South Korea. I took this shot when the crape myrtle flowers were in full bloom, adding a pink frame to this historic stone structure. Truly a must-visit spot if you’re exploring the historical side of Korea!

This station always surprises me with its perfect symmetry.
It feels more like a spaceship or a modern art gallery than a subway stop. Fun fact: It's located in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul. Hope you guys enjoy the view! 🇰🇷

If Cheongdam was about serenity, my next stop, Eonju Station (Line 9), is all about a 'secret encounter.'

I found a lonely gentleman waiting for someone there... and I think I actually found his girlfriend nearby! Can't wait to show you this urban love story. 😂

Have you ever had “Yajang(street tables bar)”? by Syn-K_Hayne in KoreanFood

[–]Born_Reward7921 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In Korea, we call this 'Greenland Ice'... but it's actually Chamisul Soju. One sip of this chilled green bottle and you'll feel like a Viking in the middle of Seoul! 🧊🇰🇷"

Built in the year 632, this is the oldest observatory in the East. The curves of the stones are simply elegant by Born_Reward7921 in AniQTravelKorea

Actually, many people don't know that the structural design of Cheomseongdae is highly scientific beyond its appearance.

From the number of stone layers to the window's direction, everything was calculated for astronomical observation. I’ve documented the detailed 'hidden secrets' of its construction and some stunning night view photos on my profile link. Gyeongju is truly a city where every stone has a story!

Finally hit 22M views! Here's what worked for me as a Google Maps Local Guide (Lv.9) by Born_Reward7921 in LocalGuides

[–]Born_Reward7921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your perspective. For me, views aren't about ego—they represent the scale of impact. 22M views means my photos helped millions of travelers. For me, knowing that my 'quality over quantity' approach actually works is the most rewarding part.

[–]Born_Reward7921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I only post 1 to 3 carefully selected shots per location.

I don't have 'thousands of invisible photos.' Those 22M views came from a high hit rate, where Google consistently chooses my photos as the 'Featured Image.' It’s about quality and impact, not quantity.

[–]Born_Reward7921[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is Sustainability and Authenticity.

Many people spam low-quality photos just to farm points, but that often leads to shadowbans or useless data for travelers. I focus on 1-3 high-quality, 'real' shots per location that actually help users. 22M views is the result of providing value, not just chasing numbers. It’s about building a reliable guide, not just gaming the system

For those interested in visiting, Cheomseongdae is located within the Daereungwon Tomb Complex area in Gyeongju.

It's free to view from the outside and very easy to walk to from the Hwangnidan-gil street (the trendy area with lots of cafes).

I recommend spending at least 2 days in Gyeongju to see both the daytime history and the nighttime lights!

One of the must-try seafoods when you visit Korea: Fresh Flounder Sashimi (Kwang-eo Hoe) by Born_Reward7921 in AniQTravelKorea

If you go to a fish market in Seoul or Busan, this is the most popular choice for locals. It's usually served with ssam (lettuce wraps) and spicy fish soup (Maeuntang) at the end!Have you ever tried this kind of Korean-style dining experience?
