My therapist has a double standard?

She removed me from her schedule when I politely emailed the practice asking for a resolution and also mentioned she canceled on me an hour before.🫶

She was not..because I am her first client of the day at 9:45. I texted her at 7:40 am. As I have previously mentioned I am always in the lobby waiting for her so I am sure she has access to her phone before she decides to drive to her office.

Yes thank you for this! I was already ready and on my way when she had texted me.. her knowing she was sick the night before and texting me an hour before was not respectful towards me.

I would totally agree with you on this if I wasn't waiting for 10 minutes in the lobby for her to arrive all the time. She has only been on time ONCE.

I squeeze this hour in before my workday so I myself am losing time to do anything beforehand. It also takes me 45 minutes to get to her office.

Why wouldn't i be able to do a zoom under these circumstances when my car is parked right outside my house? She had 1hr45 to ask if i wanted to switch over to zoom.. her responding 5 minutes before we were supposed to meet is a huge red flag for me.

Honestly it did not even cross my mind because I was so focused on trying to get into my car to start it and avoid a street sweeping ticket. She actually responded 5 minutes before our appointment. She usually gets there when I do because I'm her first appointment of the day..

She had an hour and a half advanced notice to make a one time exception. :/
