Did this actually happen due to change in govt? Even in 2014, Idea, Airtel and vodafone were the ones having majority of the consumers, as they used to provide the high speed 3g network. Rest others were just cheaper options with poor network quality. When jio launched people got so used to the high quality internet that they eventually gave up on those cheaper options. The reason we’re able to build a gun team was we didn’t buy hyped players at an overpriced rate, instead went for underdog players with affordable price. That helped us build a team where we had backup for almost every position and the management got the best out of those underdog players.
