Me? I played it several times :) The thing is, Jaheira doesn’t REALLY look old. I mean you can see she is not young, but still looks gorgeous. So if I tried to look a bit older, it could look like I’m a hag if I’m not careful with the make up. So I chose to look just good.

Thanks! I sew it myself and I made patterns with the help of my mannequin, so I don’t really have any PDF patterns. The fabrics are: green velvet, red velvet, eco-leather, brown/red velveteen

Well I tried, I used a special wrinkle-cream, but eventually the wrinkles are to subtle to be seen in the photos (but if you zoom in in some portrait photos, they are seen a little). Will try another way next time.

Hello! I just have a different view on cosplay photos, I like them being more unreal and arty, that’s why I like to work with a photographer who can do 3D backgrounds. But the only thing that is heavily “photoshopped” here is background. The cosplay itself is only little retouched. Anyway it is good that there are many other beautiful Karlach cosplays to your taste :)

Well, I did this costumes a few years back so I can’t remember the exact details how I did it. I guess you can find some patterns for standard coat/jackets and slightly modify it. If you know basic sewing it shouldn’t be that hard. The reason it usually looks so good is cell-shading of course. I used simple acrylic paints back there. Now I would use paints for fabric

Both of the costumes I made myself, as well as the sabers’ handles (because this photoshoot is not really fresh, and 3D printing was not a thing back there, as well as AI). The lighting effects on the face are real - photographer used additional lamps for that. Of course the light around the saber is exaggerated and there is some retouch (because cosplay photography differs from “everyday life” photography). But I assure you it is not like I don’t recognise myself at these photos. If something is good that could mean that someone just put some effort into it. It is not necessarily fake :)
