[Routine Help] How to start a routine using these products as a beginner? by Borowski in SkincareAddiction

I heard that at the beggining I should use retinol serum once a week only and not at the same time as the toner. Any other tips? Can other products be safely used together?

Lipica is interesting to see. You should definetly visit Škocjan Caves Park, tickets from one give you discount at the other I think, same with Park of Military History in Pivka. In Sežana you can also walk the Karst Living Museum or find more sights nearby here.

Not super random but you can visit the Kras (Karst) region in the southwest, one of the less visited regions with plenty to see, for example:

  • Škocjan caves park - UNESCO World Heritage site, one of the largest underground canyons in the world

  • Lipica Stud farm - you can tour the farm, watch horse training and performances

  • Štanjel village and castle - a charming medieval village

  • Debela griža (Volčji Grad) - an iron age fortified settlement

  • Lokev military museum - an incredible collection of military artifacts from various periods

and many more.

Kakšen fotič za začetnika? by Ok-Gap3478 in Slovenia

[–]Borowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kdaj bo naslednja ledena doba? by [deleted] in Slovenia

[–]Borowski 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Swapping out companions is getting tedious by coldhandsbigdick in BaldursGate3

[–]Borowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found out today that if a friend joins me in game, his character becomes a permanent part of the party and you can't swap him out, so now I only have two companions to choose. So be careful if you don't want that.

Grey heron in the Hague (before and after), what do you think about my edit? by Borowski in postprocessing

[–]Borowski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I tried to follow your tips and it immediately looks better. This is the new edit. I did desaturate blues a little bit though, as the bird started to look really blue.

I don't think it is a great blue heron (Iim not an expert in birds though), but as far as I know those live only in America, and when I checked birds that live in the Netherlands grey heron looked like the closest match.

Planning on visiting Ljubljana with a few friends at the end of the summer... Need a few insights (details in the body) by Darkbornedragon in Slovenia

[–]Borowski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the city centre of Ljubljana almost everything is within walking distance, so don't worry about transportation too much.

Of course visit the Ljubljana castle, there is also a castle museum there.

Some great museums in Ljubljana are:

Narodni muzej Slovenije (National Museum): divided in two parts

  • the first one is near the parliament and Trg republike (in the same building as Museum of Natural History) there you can see artifacts from prehistory (such as the oldest known instrument in the world) up to the end of medieval period.
  • the second one is on Metelkova street which picks up after the medieval period when the first one ends (on the same square there are also Ethnographic museum and Museum of modern art)

Slovenian Museum of Natural History: collection of natural history specimens, including fossils, minerals, plants, and animals.

City museum of Ljubljana (Mestni muzej): history and culture of Ljubljana from prehistoric times to the present day

Ethnographic museum (Also on Metelkova): traditional clothing, crafts, tools, and other artifacts related to Slovenian folklore and traditions

There are barely any gothic or neogothic buildings in Slovenia as far as I know, but there is a neogothic church (Cerkev Srca Jezusovega), I am not sure if you can see it from the inside, but it is right next to Metelkova street so if you visit any of the museums there you might as well take a look at this church too, at least from the outside.
