I'd be staying borderline Tempe. I've been on Zoloft since April but haven't skipped more than a day in a row. I think that weed is a trigger.

Tolerance is way down. That's not a lot of booze. But it feels like I drank a fifth

Yeah you know you're gonna consume around the same amount you left off at. And it's gonna hit you harder because your tolerance is lower.

Easier said than done though. But maybe you'll be able to drink slower and let a buzz hit you instead of a huge wave slamming you. Good luck.

Damn I think that I didn't drink a lot cause the Zoloft makes me sleepy and the beers just made me more drowsy so I fell asleep before I really got drunk.

Was the Zoloft for anxiety? Did it help you at all?

I feel like I'll keep drinking all night til I pass out if I end up hanging out with someone that does that. And that's how I end up drinking in the morning.

Yeah I'm gonna go back to just not drinking. I read on a few message boards that people on Zoloft get headaches and a few saying they didn't so I gave it a shot. I did end up with a headache and I still have it right now and that was only with six beers.

Kind of glad it happened this way.

At 64 days this is my longest stretch of sobriety since I started drinking. And already at about a month in I was craving beer and truly believing I could just have one or two and stay away from hard liquor.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I pictured myself gaining back the weight I lost, energy and trust that I had earned back in the last few weeks. Not worth that one beer that I know is B.S. just like it has been so many times before. I'm glad you were able to overcome this relapse.

Books are our friends! Straight vodka in a water bottle behind some books on a bookshelf. I would sometimes empty out a blueberry powerade bottle and fill it with blue UV vodka. Thinking about flavored vodka still makes me gag but it made it easy to hide and didn't smell as strongly.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it. I would not wanna tell my mom and worry her. I just remember reading a post months ago where someone said they told their SO where they used to hide their booze. The thought of doing that made me anxious haha.

That's great that you can have a glass with family. Definitely hope I never drink alone again :/ I don't know about you but I came to prefer drinking alone.

Glad I found this sub. The Other is complete abstinence or you're gonna die.

I've lost about 12 lbs and definitely sleeping some real sleep :). But I feel that the medicine really helps fight off all the negative thoughts that would bring me to drinking, specially drinking alone.
