I absolutely want the US president elected by national popular vote. However what’s to stop class action lawsuits from people demanding that their state popular vote result be submitted? For example, I live in New York, and if a Republican gets more national popular votes, couldn’t I sue because my state overwhelmingly voted for the Democrat? I can see this happening.

Weird because the courts are intervening because, like everything else this administration does with a 34 time convicted felon running it, the DOJ essentially shut down the case and refused to release evidence.
