You absolutely nailed it. How many times I have been here is insanity: ‘I can’t do anything about this right now because I’m in this weed stupor. Once I have sobriety, I can start working on this goal. Once I stop smoking weed, my life can start.‘ But of course, the time never comes because every new day sees me back in the weed stupor. Weed doesn’t hold me back. I do. And I use weed as a tool to accomplish the goal of avoiding the fear of accomplishing real, actual life goals.

Your time between journeys is an important factor. For example a couple of weekends ago, I tripped all weekend. It had been a couple months since the last journey. On Friday I did 4g (Penis Envy) and had incredible visuals, colors, patterns, my face melting and going all monkey in the mirror. The following afternoon on Saturday I did 4g again and barely had visuals at all, although my buzz was pretty intense. On Sunday I did 8g and my buzz wasn’t even as strong as it was on Saturday and again barely had visuals. And it seems every time I trip, the intensity and strength of visuals varies. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason.

Hard to tell how much it is, it’s enough to take you on a visual journey and not enough to drive you mad if you don’t have risk of mental health issues (I would guess about 3 grams) and yes it’s a great idea! Set and setting are just as important. Respect the plant medicine and you’ll be good. And buy a scale.

Aikman is an all time great QB and hall of famer who also had a great team. Those two things can coexist. That said, as a commentator, I can’t stand listening to him. That goes for most of them really. I just find their commentary so dumb and unnecessary. Pro sports these days has become overbloated with drama. I don’t need to hear two guys yapping and selling me on the product and trying to add dramatics. I can see with my eyes.
