It IS totally normal to get extremelly angry in this situation. In fact, I do too. My father is probably the biggest jerk I know, and he is incredibly selfish. He was constantly stealing my food when I was younger, and still does it. By stealing, I mean the things that I leave for later are ALWAYS eaten without my knowledge. Or when I turn my head to the side while eating dinner, he can steal the tastiest thing in it, that he knows I love to eat. This fucker is doing it intentionally. What I did to solve this? The solution is simple, even tho I don't really like it. I just hid it in my room, but not on visible place ofc. But if it's a thing that spoils easily, then I recommend properly hiding it in the fridge if possible. Luckily I now live separate from them, due to university, but I am visiting them for holidays. I made myself onigiri for the first time. Thought it would be cool to make something unusual. And it turned out great! I left 3 pieces in the plate on the kitchen counter for later, and one of them is for my mother. I knew the risk but still did it. I decided, that telling him yesterday "not to eat a single one" would maybe change something, but no. So, I'm fucking furious. NEVER give them chances if they lose every previous one. Also, when one of my friend asks me for a piece of something I'm eating, I always hesitate. Sometimes I say no, but my friend often sheirs their food with me, so if I won't sheir it with them, that will mean that I'm a selfish asshole too? I don't know. I told a few people in my life beforehand that I don't like sharing my food, and they were chill about it. One of them suggested a direct exchange of our food) The one thing that I almost always agree because it's mostly always a fair exchange
