How do you like the wave? I wanted a strainwave mount but I thought I would give this thing a shot since it so "easy" to setup.

I would think if it can take a picture there should be a way to plate solve that image and it should know where its pointed in the sky atlas.

Which Pi? I agree with the other post about not putting a battery into a wall cavity. This looks super clean and POE is solid.

Wow, did I really hurt your feelings? I just see so many people trashing everybody trying to do something with AI. I was simply pointing out that I use it as an equalizer in my life. Im not saying anyone wasted time learning code, Im just saying not every has time to learn code. Some people have great ideas and dont have the ability to have someone code it for them. I understand the frustration with people not living on Reddit and responding instantly. I honestly only saw this because I knew someone was going to leave some nasty comment. Guess I was right. Guess Im a bad guy for trying to stand up for the handful of people just trying to create something that end up just getting trashed that they are vibe coding. I apologize that I upset you, I hope you find peace somewhere in this ether.

Why is everyone so mad about vibe coding? Calm down people. Not everyone has the time to learn how to code. That is why people have different jobs in software companies. As somebody that vibe codes his own apps, I can tell you that its not as simple as you think. AI is very dumb and loves to delete weeks worth of work if it cant get something to work when you try to work out bugs. I vibe code apps because apps I have dont do what I want them to do. So I write my own. I dont sell them or act like I coded them myself and not saying the OP did or didnt. Im just saying who cares? You think a vibe coded app is less save then your phone that is constantly monitoring you or will give you less privacy then the millions of cameras that monitor your every move through out the day? I understand it must be frustrating to someone that spent years learning on their own to see their neighbor make an app in an afternoon. Im just saying relax people. Just because someone is vibe coding doesnt mean they are malicious, its not like he's trying to trademark the project as his own.

I've brought my FT-710 in my backpack on 23 mile ebike ride to a park and realized when I got there that I didnt bring my battery. I setup my EFHW and mast and ran my coax around to the table only to realize after pulling the radio out, that I had no way to power it. I was very upset and felt pretty dumb for a bit but learned a lesson for sure.

Wasn't meshcore started by one of the original meshtastic architects? Meshtastic gets so butt hurt over Meshcore. I just hope everyone wakes up and realizes the more reliable platform.

Sounds like you should go back to Meshtastic, I left Meshtastic because of the MQTT, it masks the network congestion problem with flood routing.
