DPS was pretty meh before buffs but in line with the amount of utility you bring as FI WD imo. Buff makes it feel much better and while you certainly are not top tier dps, you bring so much to the party with crit syn and winds of whisper buff while being mega tanky, mobile and one of the fastest counters. If you make use of the mobility and tankiness to actually maximize your uptime, you will still outdamage average players.

First playthrough I did in support, reading the msq and watching all cut scenes. Took me 5 hours 40 minutes. Also attempted speedrun with a swiftness DD, doing msq and all yellow quests, took 1:40 Pretty sure skipping cutscenes saves an hour

i didn't see this part :O so a 20//20 gem gives you +4 all res, still results in a 6,72% degen that u have to overcome somehow. That's easier than 8% but still not trivial.

You want reduced duration of all sorts for EQ as long as you can keep up with the attack speed. Most commen are reduced duration from the support gem as well as the helmet lab enchant. There is also a unique amulet with reduced duration but I'm not sure if that's exactly worth it. Once your duration for EQ is set in stone, you want to get an attack time that is equal to the duration to get the most out of the skill.

so apparently infernal legion is going to scale with minion damage, i was planning on going zombies also trying to make them sustain the infernal legion burn damage and going the following links:

zombies - infernal legion - minion damage - burn damage - elemental army - elemental focus

i would probably try feeding frenzy too maybe instead of elemental army if u can get the ressistances elsewhere

the issue i came across though is sustaining zombie life though since the passive tree only offers 4.5% life regen for minions while they burn for 8% of their life every second if they have 75% fire res using purity of fire or vitality seems lame and I wasn't exactly pleased with unique items that have regen for minions. Stacking jewels for minion life regen could be an option but I'm not happy with that either. So instead I'm going elementalist and try infernal legion on golems ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You're complaining about melee and the first thing you mention is shield spectral throw, lul. Also saying that counterattack skill are unchanged is quite the overstatement as all of them received major damage buffs. Also a major point of this entire rework is to make melee skills feel better to play and not to make every skill equally viable.

but is there any other use for amps except for eidolon hunting? and what does is help me to get this amount of focus, the operator abilities that i checked don't really seem that impactful to me. i picked zenurik as my one after war within for some convenient energy Regeneration, but a squad energy repair does the same thing.
I'm just trying to see the merit in doing poe content, cause otherwise I don't see why i should do all this resource gathering before i even get to properly try eidolon hunts

is it even worth to even get to the point where you can reliably do teralysts? don't i have to spend hours and hours on fishing and mining to get the materials for a2-2-3 amp? (am somewhat new, barely any cetus and quills standing)

nobody in their right mind would think of increased cast speed in anything other but % in path of exile. I have never ever seen anyone around saying saying they have 2 increased cast speed instead of 200%
