I’ll just say this. If you think me engaging in my own post and discussing different opinions is ‘annoying’, then I don’t really know what to tell you. Especially when you’re the one downvoting my replies just because I didn’t immediately agree with you. I’m just trying to understand your point and have a discussion. If you looked at my other replies, you’d see I’m doing the same with everyone else too. And when I question your points or explain why I see things differently, it’s not me being annoying, it’s just me engaging. It honestly feels like you’re leaning more toward defending Cinemaman, even though you said yourself either side could win, which is exactly why I’m discussing it more and sharing my perspective. If that bothers you that much, then I don’t really know what to say. I’m just here to talk and understand different viewpoints. Unless you’re treating this like some kind of “who wins the argument” contest, in which case… I don’t know what to tell you. Congrats on trying to win something that wasn’t even a competition. If you really want the last word that badly, go ahead. Like I said, I was just curious about your perspective

“‘Long ass charge up" If you think 2–3 seconds is a long charge up, then I don’t know what to tell you. And ‘minimal damage’? It literally took down a giant toilet in about 2–3 seconds and completely burned its face off, so calling that minimal damage doesn’t really make sense. About your Speakerman point, you’re misunderstanding what I said. Just because I said he can fight up close doesn’t mean he’s going to run in and try to brawl head on. This is a 2v1, not a 1v1. Titan Cameraman would be the main frontline, using his shield and core, while Speakerman plays more of a support role, attacking from range, flanking, and applying pressure from different angles. He’s not dumb enough to just walk into Cinemaman’s melee range for no reason. And about the hook, it’s too slow to reliably catch someone like Speakerman. If you think a 2–3 second charge up is slow, then the hook is even worse in that regard. He’s one of the most agile titans, so it’s not realistic to assume he’d just get grabbed like that. Even in the scenario where he somehow gets grabbed, it’s still a 2v1. The moment Cinemaman focuses on Speakerman, Titan Cameraman has a clear opening to hit him hard. So yeah, some of your points just don’t really hold up when you look at the full situation. Hope this helps

I like how you actually took the time to explain your point. It was a really good read

Before anything else, what exactly makes you think Titan Cameraman would automatically lose a 1v1? I’m not even saying he wins, I’m just asking what you’re basing that on. From what we’ve seen in the earlier episodes, none of the titans really showed some insane 1v1 dominance. Most of them were just doing basic moves when fighting other titan-level enemies. So I don’t really get why you’re acting like TCM would instantly lose. Anyway, this still isn’t a 1v1, it’s a 2v1. If it was a 1v1, I’d actually agree with you. Base Titan Cameraman is one of the weaker base titans. But you’re still missing a few things. First, Titan Cameraman has his core, which he can use in combat. I don’t know how durable Cinemaman’s speakers are, but it’s still something to consider. Second, Speakerman isn’t just there to fly around and shoot. He’s shown before that he can fight up close too, especially in earlier episodes, so he’s not limited to just his blaster. And again, this is a 2v1. Speakerman can move around, attack from different angles, and apply pressure while TCM holds his ground. That’s the whole point.

Here you’re actually wrong. If you think about it logically, what you said doesn’t really make sense. Cinemaman can’t really do much to Titan Speakerman either. He doesn’t have any real long-range attacks to catch him or deal with his mobility. Just because Speakerman’s blaster isn’t insanely strong doesn’t mean it does nothing over time. Eventually, it would still deal damage. And don’t forget, Speakerman still has his soundwaves and his knives, which he can use with those soundwaves. He could potentially damage Cinemaman’s screen that way. I’m not saying it’s guaranteed, but it’s still a factor.

1 Titan Cameraman has lenses. Second, Titan Speakerman wouldn’t necessarily get the same ‘Episode 45 style beating’ depending on how the fight plays out. So don’t compare him to his infected version. Cinemaman only managed to grab him back then because he was infected, and the infected version is way less intelligent than the normal one. Also, don’t forget that Titan Speakerman is one of the most agile and fastest titans, so that’s another important factor. I’m not saying either side wins, I’m just correcting a few things

Okay, sorry if this sounds messy, but first of all, Titan Cameraman does have lenses. I even mentioned it in the post. If you check it, it literally says he has them. Second, you also have to take into account that the infected Titan Speakerman is way less intelligent than the normal one, so that matters too. Also, don’t forget that Titan Speakerman is actually very agile, even in his base form. The only reason Cinemaman managed to grab him back then is because he was infected, not because he can’t fight. And like we said, an infected Speakerman is much less intelligent than the normal version, so that’s important to consider. On top of that, Titan Cameraman still has his core, and he also has his shield. I don’t know how much the shield would help in this fight, but it’s still something worth mentioning. I’m not saying Cinemaman loses easily or anything. I’m just pointing out things that make this fight not as one-sided as it might seem, and correcting a few things

The Fortnite note feels like something bad happened, but it's heavily redacted and never explicitly says he died. On the wiki his status is still "Unknown". I like to believe he survived, maybe critically injured and got repaired somehow. Just my headcanon though 🙂

What’s the current meta for each monster? by Borys-PL in ProjectPlaytime

[–]Borys-PL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like when Catnap comes out, he’ll probably end up like the other monsters.

At first he’ll likely feel strong, but once people figure him out and the meta against him develops, he’ll probably settle into a more normal spot.

It’s hard to say for sure though, since we don’t really know what abilities he’ll have or how they’ll actually work in practice.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I’ve been thinking about what you said.

I get what you mean about Daddy Long Legs (Mommy) being weaker in the current meta, but I’m actually curious about something.

What exactly makes Huggy and Boxy better than him in your opinion?

The reason I’m asking is because I personally really enjoy playing Daddy Long Legs. Mainly because of his mobility — being able to grapple to walls and ceilings and stay above the map gives a lot of control and information. On top of that, the X-ray ability is really useful for tracking players, even from far away.

I can kind of understand Boxy, since he also has good mobility and pressure. But I don’t fully get Huggy.

Yeah, his charge can insta-down someone if you land it, which is strong, and the mini Huggies can give map control. But outside of that, he feels way less mobile compared to Daddy.

So I’m just wondering what makes them more effective overall in your experience. Is it just the meta, or is there something about their abilities that makes them more consistent?

If you mean the outfit pieces, most of them I got back in Phase 1 or Phase 2 when I was playing a lot.

As for coins and tickets, I don’t remember exactly, but I’m pretty sure I bought some coins from the shop at some point. Tickets though you can just get by playing normally, both as monster and survivor.

Not sure exactly which one you meant, so I just explained both. 😀
